  As a sociology undergraduate student, I wanted to work on something related to the concrete cases of social change. When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or dedicating my life to singing. But finally I decided to study sociology because it is the most important to me.It is exciting to understand and investigate the human behavior, both individually and collectively. For example, in vulnerable communities, where I can apply the tools that I’m currently learning and experiencing in my life and this career. My experience at university is very exciting and challenging, but I am happy. I didn’t apply for any other area of study as I haven't done anything else in my life more than helping people who needed it. It was funny, all the other careers in my registration were similar to sociology, they were journalism, anthropology, social works, history and pedagogy.

Hello! I am Amanda Solari. I was born in Santiago, and I am studying sociology at the University of Chile. I am part of a family of seven members, my mother, my sister, my sister’s boyfriend and my three dogs, who are the most important part of my family. My mother is a school teacher, actress and alternative therapist .
