Hello everyone, in this blog I am going to talk about my study program and the changes that I would eventually make to it.

I think my study program is very complete, in fact I decided to study sociology instead of another career because the sociology study plan includes social theory and practice. On this last point, I think that my study program needs some changes, because sociology and social sciences in general tend to stay in theory and not make concrete changes in society. I think this is the most important thing to be a sociologist or other social scientist, to be an agent of change.

Regarding the workload and the duration of the studies, I think it's fine, but sometimes the organization of this is very confusing or the distribution is poorly done, consequently, this becomes a very heavy workload that causes a lot of stress and anxiety. So, I think that if some changes were implemented in the study program based on the best efficiency of all students, everything could be less and less stressful.

I think that the buildings and infrastructure or facilities of the faculty are fine for students of sociology, but for example, for an art career the situation is very precarious and needs immediate change.

Another immediate change is in technology. I think it is unacceptable that the computers or the internet do not work well because that is only limiting access to classes for, for example, someone who cannot get home punctually, in fact this situation happens to me in this class.

As for the teaching methods, I think they are fine, but the pandemic requires a lot of changes and as for teaching, we need to go back to the practice of practical learning.
