Hello everyone, in this blog I am going to talk about my study program and the changes that I would eventually make to it. I think my study program is very complete, in fact I decided to study sociology instead of another career because the sociology study plan includes social theory and practice. On this last point, I think that my study program needs some changes, because sociology and social sciences in general tend to stay in theory and not make concrete changes in society. I think this is the most important thing to be a sociologist or other social scientist, to be an agent of change. When I was a child I wanted to be many things, such as a farmer, a doctor, an opera singer, a merchant, an astronaut, and really any job that allowed me to travel around the world giving me the possibility to change it. In short, I would like a job that contemplates working with animals and traveling, that would be the job of my dreams. For that I need many skills, such as veterinary and medical knowledge, manage myself in many languages, have all the necessary implements and know how to use them among others. I believe that all people in the world deserve to work in the job of their dreams, because we deserve to be happy and live with peace and self-realization.   Hi everyone! My last vacations were in February of this year, 2022. I went camping in a far away native forest in Chillan for two weeks. I went with my best friend from university and her family and other friends. It was a long journey to get there, also a beautiful one. Finally when we arrived there I was very surprised because I had never seen so much nature.  We did a lot of things, we walked a lot in the native forest and we swam in a very cold river. We cooked a lot of delicious recipes like spaghetti with tomato sauce and other vegetarian recipes like hummus. In fact, I loved the idea of living in this place, the peace and the silence were wonderful. This experience is one of the best I have had in my life because traveling there reminded me of the meaning of life and how time passes very fast and how we do not see that very often.   Thanks for reading about my last vacations Kind regards

  Hi everyone! If I had a lot of money, I would like to go to Brazil in the near future, because it is a very beautiful country and the people are very kind, warm and happy. In addition I like the hot climate of Brazil because everyone can use light clothing and I like the culture's history too. In Brazil, I would like to travel around all the country, including the jungle and if I can camp, I would like it very much. Eventually, I would like living in this country because it is relatively close to Chile and if I do not like it, I can go over to my house with my family and my friends very quickly.  In fact, maybe I would like living in Brazil, but I don´t like living alone. in consequence, I would invite my friends or my family to live with me. Paulo Freire is a Brazilian teacher whose specialty is intervention in discriminated and vulnerable communities through pedagogy. One of his most important contributions to the world was his theory of the "pedagogy of the oppressed", that is why he is the person related to my career.
